There are many places on the planet where you can see entire fields covered with flowers of various shades in the spring. Bright red poppy fields stretch for tens of hectares in Kazakhstan, where we invite you to go. Not only locals come to admire them, but also tourists from all over the world.

You can see scarlet fields only once a year. The peak of flowering occurs in mid-May. In the suburbs of Almaty, there is a species of remeria, or, as it is also called, "peacock" poppy. In Kazakhstan, poppies grow mainly in the south of the republic, they love arid places. Red grows in the steppes and semi-deserts, but in the mountains you can find multi-colored poppies, for example, yellow, white or orange.

The scarlet flower belongs to the poppy family, it is a perennial plant. For the sake of beautiful photos, you should not pick flowers. Poppy is a very capricious plant. Despite the large areas covered by this flower, the abundance of flowering varies greatly from year to year. Today we can see the red steppe to the horizon, but next year poppies may not bloom in this place.
